I consider myself on a path toward great success. It has been a difficult path indeed, but also very instructive and rewarding.

How did I handle this...Well I've done the "at home" business thing for quite some time. This has been a wonderful opportunity to build my career experience, while at the same time raising kids.

The "at home" business experiences I have chosen have facilitated and supported my skill-building in sales, market research, and business management. All of these skills were necessary and valuable as I transitioned back into an off-site work environment. I now find myself in my dream job and ironically it is a job that allows me to work from home.

As I reflect, I do believe it is important for women to continue to develop their skills whether they are stay-at-home moms or corporate executives. Furthermore, we will only be as successful as we perceive we are. Picture yourself where you see yourself in 1-5 and even 10 years from now.

Believe you can achieve and you will. Do not let the negative enter into your goal plan...ever!
